Modding Cosmic Star Heroine's Textures?

So I took a peek in this game's files and couldn't find any (obvious) textures to change. So instead, I booted up UMod (which functions like Texmod) and was able to get what I wanted. I think that texture mods are very feasable for this game.

Accessing this game's textures brought me to a question. Are mods allowed for this game? I think that I'd like to make mod or two for this game in the future, once I get my current projects out of the way.

Sometimes, developers don't allow the distribution of modded assets from their games. It's the same way in the modding community as well.

If someone doesn't provide permission to alter their work (whether it's provided in a "terms of service"/permissions-page or personally), they can become very up-in-arms about their files.

While I wouldn't ask anyone if if could mod a file for personal use, it's always a good idea ask before distributing a modded version of something that doesn't belong to you.

I have no problem with mods for any of our games as long as you don't try to sell the mod & keep things PG (no hate speech, no porn, no uber violence).

Well hell, this is exactly what I've been looking for! If someone is able to edit the textures and make an HD version of the game. And a big thank you to rwb36 for authorizing that.
