Better than HearthStone!
What the subject said. No supporting evidence. Too lazy.

Alright, here is my input.

I've been playing HS since BS2 was anounced 1-2 months ago so I left MMDoC because it seemed pointless to continue playing Kelthor. And I only play Kelthor.

Reason why I love HS is because there are less BS like Prison, Mass Rage. In MMDoC you can win even though you haven't placed any creature. That's sucks. In HS there is more focus on board control even though there are BS moves like board freezing and delaying game for Giants. Also, voice over, card design, board animations are really good. Unlike MMDoC foil cards, HS ones are well made and you want them in your deck.

I think that's all good I can say about HS. What pisses me off are Huntards (dumb version of Craig Hack), Arena (even though I'm good at it, it still sucks that I'm forced to play random class, with random cards for random rewards.), reward system, or lack of it. In MMDoC there are hundred achievements and every one is rewarding while in HS there are like 5 and just gives you a small bonus in the beginning.

But the thing that pisses me off the most are the duplicates in the deck. I mean, I get pathetic 5 cards and 2 of them are the same. Considering you can only have 2 same cards in 1 deck that's pure BS if you ask me.

TLDR : MMDoC is way better.

I totally agree with the OP. The amount of luck-based cards in HS is simply game-killing to me; besides, card art is just plain bad.

I think actually hearstone is better for several reasons:
- Max 30 cards for every deck -> you don't see people with improbably 400 cards deck but sadly lucky in their drawing (i've seen 3 Pao and 2 war tent in the first hand of a 90 cards kelthor deck... this is only lucky. no strategy, no good game, only lucky)

- Only 1 card draw at the start of the turn, unless you play creature or spell that let you draw.

- Max 10 mana -> you stall the game? but the mana is still 10...

- You can play ranked or unranked so if you don't earn or lost levels

- Levels system versus elo system in a casual and high aleatory game? better the level system.

- Level's graduatory resetted every month (actually on 3000+ player at 1500+ elo how many of them are really actives?)

- The matchmaking system is actually much better

- you can create the card you want and disenchant the card... the infernal pitt system is actually very far from this creation card system

- Daily quest are much better than daily rewards, collectable at the end of the week.

Sorry for my english... ^_^ the last thing... i love DOC much more than hearstone... but heartstone is, for me, better projected.

Well next patch adds most of those stuffs too ;)
But lets all agree both games have their pros and cons, just pick whats more your taste n have fun with it.
No one needs to be forced to like what other like, everyone has their own opinions and preferences.

Well, just telling you, but in HS there is a certain mage... you know what they do? Throw spells...
Not sure how much they changed it, but the Mage decks were hated all the time in constructed mode, because of the dominance of their SPELL CARDS!!!!. Its all about Freezing, maybe summoning 2 0/2 defenders for 1 mana and then throwing as many spell cards into the enemy face... the only creatures you play are ones with devasting effects (like Sylvanis) or cards creatures which lets you draw more cards/makes your spells deal more damage....
Not to mention she can make herself invincible for 2 rounds....

IMO the HS system is broken, because its all about having the most important cards in your deck ("Argentum" cards are strong in every aspect), and most of the other cards are useless or just worth less (not to mention there are too many cards with the same stats, which makes collecting them all pointless).
The only thing HS wins is: the interaction with the game board, i love shooting ballistas when the enemy is thinking up his plan, but the gameplay is too boring and got too many flaws.

And: Golems arent that strong, just because they got great stats, they arent valuable at all (most of the time) clearing the board is more important and creatures are useless most of the time in the game in HS, because they last not even 2 turns
