So its not a bad investion, especially when you cant get any older cards without using up your WC´s. You will get ahead in Open format. -> Worth it if you like the cards/the deck.
Do you get a code, or how does it work when purchasing the dlc?
Its not how popular it is gonna be, or sth like that its gonna be integrated if you like it or not, ofc you can skip the days when tournaments go into these formats, if you like the BS1, its cheaper then later on, where you can only get them for WC, not even mention you want to play the game later on, then get them.. if you dont want to get them, then do not, no one is forcing anyone and maybe you are going for BS2 only, which is nice, etc, but what if BS3 comes out? And lets say you still play the game frequently, then its the same issue again...
But even so, they said that some cards are maybe getting a comeback in the expansions later on, if they seem them to fit in there.
You wont lose anything if getting a good BS1 deck, rather you are gonna get another game mode, which is interesting in his own way, because who is gonna play the same old decks like before? Or who goes in for a mix between different sets? What is superior in the long term? etc etc.
Something else to mention is, that the devs are working on issues like dodging, which is nice, and they have done sth against the abuse of unique spell cards yesterday, which is kinda nice too...
