How to raise affection?

I'm a bit confused on how to actually raise affection and not just constantly lose it to H attacks. I haven't found anyway to actually raise it, and i just see that its going down the more I fight monsters. Any tips for this? I'm I just to early in the game still?

Affection system is explained in the mining town. You can manually control it by using the slime plushies.

The difficult part is that monsters with H attack make affection drop so fast everytime they use an H attack. if u have a companion with low affection lvl the monsters will focus her and will use H attacks constantly.

Yes, it is intended to work that way. It's actually explained at some point in the game.

You might have missed it. There's an event in the mining town where the girls ask you which slimes you find cute at the plushies vendor. That vendor sells three types of plushies, two slimes (one for each girl) that raises affection by 10 and a plushie of the bad guy that lowers affection by 5.

Keep in mind that most of the H scenes are locked behind low affection level. From memory, only one scene is locked behind high affection. Keeping it high would just mean dodging ntr scenes (some happens anyway in the main story) if you're not into it.
Worst case scenario, all scenes are unlocked once you complete the game. You can then watch/rewatch them at Rayne's house.
