C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\MotoGP2014
MotoGP14.exe
MotoGP14X64.exe
or something else?
In your home directory, i.e
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Milestone\MotoGP14
There's a config file in here. AppData is usually hidden so you may need to change your Windows folder options to see it.
its less blurry without the AFX, even if it is supposed to look more realistic.
I know about the config.ini file. I'm asking which executable do you patch for NTCore, MotoGP14.exe or MotoGP14X64.exe?
I'm fairly sure this will make no difference. If you are running a 64bit OS the launcher selects MotoGP14X64.exe, which will use more than 4GB. If you have a x64 OS you can actually delete MotoGP.exe as it isn't run at all. If you have a 32bit OS, it's kind of bad luck because you can't address more the 4GB in any case.
That's what I thought, why it would need more memory allocation if there is a separate exe for 64bit OS. So patch isn't necessary. Thanks.
It works. I'm getting really good graphics running at 2560x1440 (you have to edit config.ini and set to read only) and 60fps on two SLI'd GTX780 using latest Nvidia beta drivers. The game really does appreciate a brute force approach. I still get some aliasing on those slow pan opening shots, but you don't see any racing. To walk you through it and I'm assuming you have a x64 OS; There is no preset nvidia profile so you have to create one. If you have already created one, delete it with Nvidia Inspector and start again, just to make sure we're on the same page. Open Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3d settings > Customise > add MotoGP14. Check setting as, prerendered frames=2 (this works well for me and helps prevent skipped frames), SLI set to Nvidia Recommended. Open Nvidia Inspector. Goto your created profile which will be something like "D:\steam\steamapps\motogp14\motogp14x64.exe" . Find SLI Compatibility bits (DX1x) towards the top and change to "f1 2013" (should be 0x020100F5). Leave all the SLI settings at blah_AUTOSELECT. Do not force AFR 1 or 2 as this won't use the compatibility bits and will just cripple your framerate . Apply. That's it. You can check it's working correctly with Afterburner or similar app but you should notice it immediately in-game (especially in the helmet view which for some reason tends to drop the frame-rate and now should be a rock steady 60fps).
