Maybe before you buy the game try this out for the sound loss and see if it works in the demo. It worked for only some people.
If you are currently experiencing any of this issues:
• Randomly audio loss
• No sound from bike
Please try to switch from “surround” to “stereo” on your audio card’s configuration’s panel. It is possible that some USB audio devices aren’t fully supported by the game. We suggest you to try another audio input.
Hope this was helpful for you towards your decision.
Happy racing!
Here is something else you could try if you haven't already. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2918-QGHC-3562
I use SLI 760's.
I'm connected via DVI-D
I play using a headset, I haven't tried speakers yet.
Also this is the ONLY game I've ever had problems with in regards to sound shorting out.
Sounds excellent!
