Overall Effects Strength: 100%
Spring Effect Strength: ~70-80%
Damper Effect Strength: 20%
Enable Centering Spring: unchecked
Degrees of Rotation: 460 (personal preference but 900 is waaay too much)
But I'm still not completely satisfied. All the above manages only wheel "weight", I would expect that through force feedback, I would be able to tell smooth tarmac from dusty gravel but that just doesn't happen (yet).
Maybe someone from Milestone could advise how to best set up G27 so that it feels natural or "as intended".
Otherwise, the game looks really promising. Good work.
"Please also make sure that in the steering wheel properties panel the pedals are set to operate in combination."
Combined Pedals? When was this game created, 1999? Get with the times Milestone.
Fanatec Porsche GT3 RS V2 with CSR Elite Pedals pluged-in via wheel connections.
Wheel settings: Rotation 300, FFB 100, Shock 0, Drift 0, ABS Off, Linarity 0, Dead Zone, Spring 0, Dampner -3... same settings as I use for F1 2013.
This is the only way it feels right to me. Their 900 degree wheel support feels like junk, huge dead zone and just overall non-responsive. That is not including the 50% dead-zone in the pedals, because of problems with combined pedals and my current driver/firmware. In RBR I normally run 450 degrees.
Game is enjoyable... but I'd really love to have the pedals fixed. That's my #1 complaint currently.
So if you make some changes and then try to play they never seem to do anything but if you make changes, exit the game and then restart it should have an effect. A pain in the butt to get the right settings since you have to keep quitting and starting after each change to see any effect.
It still doesn't feel right but I got them to a reasonable level for now.
Could you please share your settings? BTW using the Logitech Profiler, the game also needs to be shut down and started after every tweak - a real PITA.
I get almost no FFB at all.
Sometimes when sliding I can fell some counter force.
But most of the time the wheel is loose and I can't feel anything.
:/
EDIT : Wait, FFB effect are reversed !!!
When sliding the wheel pull inside !
