First my saves vanish. Now i can't even save career...

Ok guys i bought and played quite a bit of WRC 4 after it was released... Recently i've come back to it... The first thing i noticed was my career progress had been deleted and i had to start a new game...

I though oh well and cracked on with it... Now for some reason, no matter what i do, my prgress won't save. And every time i put WRC on, I have to start from the begining...

Does anyone have any ideas?

I don't want to give out false hope by responding, but I would like to say I've got exactly the same problem... Tried deleting files, disabling steam cloud and reinstalling the game, nothign seems to help.

Atleast it's not just me. I though i might of deleted something trying to free up space on my SSD

I've read the same thing about MotoGP 2013. Same game engine. I just do championships instead, not taking the chance.

When you finish a stage does the game connect to the internet to update your progress? do you see the little annimation? do you have any caching software running in the backround? can you play online?

Even though i have an account, and when I validate it it all goes through. I get the time upload error at the end of stages. I don't remember seeing any animation but i'll check for you.

Only software i have running in the background usually is Xfire and Raptr.

OK,...up to yesterday online was broken,...It is back up today. Once you finish a stage you should see the annimation (spinning circle) uploading your time. If you don't see it that's why it is not saving. make sure your router ports are open from the game readme,....

The online Mode works for me just fine, but the career is still broken. I have tried overwriting the save files with older ones but i doesn't work as well. Any recommendations?

Yeah i'd forgot about this. Everything checks out and MP works fine for me. But SP will not save :(

Could it be file permissions? Try as Admin.

C:\Users\Titus\AppData\Roaming\milestone\wrc4\saves\career

I found where they save the file looking at the logs for cloud sinc. My game is also not saving correctly. I have restarted 3 times

Will post if a solution is found

do you have any issues playing multiplayer?

I deleted the above file and it started saving again but i lost my multiplayer and had to reregister to get to play on line with a new email.
