WRC 4 this one VS PS 2 version

Hello. I'm a little confused. When I was young I had PS 2 and I got WRC 4 for it and I loved it. I was playing it hours a day. Many years later I sold PS 2 and the game. Now I was looking for it and if it was released on PC and now I just found this WRC 4 on steam. So I bought it and was hoping to play that awesome game again. But when I started it, it looks completely different than had it on my PS 2 . I looked on wiki stie of this game and it says it was released 2013... ??? When I was playing this game it was longer than 8 years ago so how it can be released 2 years ago ? That game was released in 2004. It represents the 2004 year. 10 years later, the oficial WRC game is named based on two numers (again), and even if the WRC 4 was released in 2013, it represents the 2014 season. WRC 5 came out this year, and represents 2015-2016 season. Acourding to FIA of corse.
It's a mess, but it's 2 diferent games. The one you played was created by Evolution Studios, you probably know their latest games like Motorstorm and Driveclub.
Sony eventually lost the franchise and it went to Milestone.
The games you are looking for are exclusive to Sony PS2. These newest ones are multi-plataform. :)
