Great beginners' guide to combat in Child Of Light

Wish I had found this one sooner. It has some of the most lucid explanations on the interweb on Child Of Light battle system. Some really helpful tips and explanations if playing/ shifting to expert level from casual setting.

A personal input: I'm still playing the game, and about two-thirds of the way through. One of the things I have realized contrary to standard (and misleading) recommendation on the interruption system is:
Do not always defend when behind an enemy in the casting zone of timeline. Decide judiciously. There are many many considerations which make this decision quite complex. Consider other options too like potions, healing, speedups.
