Umbra is impossible even on casual

I pretty much breezed through the game on expert but I can't beat umbra, even on casual.

I've seen videos of people taking her down on YouTube but they all kill the owls first and they never come back. This has clearly been patched since the second I kill one, the ♥♥♥♥ just revives it immediately.

My characters seem to die before they can do anything meaningful to her. Then all I'm doing is reviving or healing, instead of doing damage. What a POS fight, the ending will now be completely ruined for me because all I'm going to remember is the frustration.

*My characters are around lvl 45, I am not going back to grind more levels.

You are complaining because the game gave you a little bit of challenge?

There are many tools at your disposal. A generic strategy should not be a solution for every problem.

Put defensive gems on the dude with the mask and use taunt on him. Then either take out the owls with Light damage or buff yourself.

If the whole game is a piece of cake and the last boss is controller-smashingly hard, there clearly is an issue somewhere.

Anyway, I just beat her. On casual. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

the problem is on your end, you have a party , use it , you have items use them ...you have skills and points...USE THEM

I beat her in one try even with all the reviving and stuff. You have to use Aurora and Tristis for most of it. Use tristis to buff Aurora (unstoppable, ultimate armor, haste) and then switch him out for Gen. Then you can constantly slow or paralyze Umbra with her. Use oculi to give her light damage on her melee attacks and make sure to use your MP potions, because you want to be constantly using Aurora's spells. She's not too hard. You should be fine :)

way easier, jsut use everyone with Citrine Oculi, and that will get her down pretty quick
