Why does the Princess' crown say 'Faux' on the inside?
Why does the Princess' crown say 'Faux' on the inside? This seems very stupid and it's very immersion-killing.

Why did they do that?

She isnt a princess in the real world, she wares a toy crown because thats the kind of things little girls do. Her mother cast a spell of protection on it though so its useful, but people keep calling her a princess for wearing it so she points out its fake.

Say what? But that's exactly what the story presents her as.

She is the daughter of a duke in RW making her title "Lady" so she is Lady Aurora.

Princess is a title which is automatically inherited by the Daughter of a Monarch - The Daughter of someone in the immediate succession chain or most of the time to the wife of a prince. So she is a princess in Lumeria as her mother is a queen. But in the real world she is a lower Nobel.
