What's The Best Console To Play Child of Light On?
I really want to play this game. Badly. In fact, a friend of mine bought the game for me here. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to play it because of all the crap Ubisoft wants me to download, and it still wouldn't load. I feel bad about having to return it to him, since he bought it, along with two other games (the other two I kept) for me as a Christmas present.

That being said, I hear Child of Light can be played on other consoles such as the XBox, Wii U, PS3, and PS4. So I ask: Which console does CoL play best on? And is it possible to play it on any of those consoles without having to download all of that uPlay stuff? I hope no one minds me asking, because I hear the game is really good, and I really want to play it.

Console ??? Really ??? PC is the best platform .

You only need to download the ubisoft launcher (same as staem....do you regret to play games on PC because of the bullcrap that steam makes you download ??? ) .

I really dont know how can someone play a game like this with a controller , how are you going to use oculi ?? .

I never had ANY problems with UPlay . Played everysingle game that they gave away for free last year for the UBI30 . Not a single problem .

I've played it both on PC and on Xbox (I use a controller when I play on PC as well) and frankly it felt just the same. The only mishap I've encountered on PC is that Aurora's hair seems to disappear in battle from time to time. Just a minor, tiny thing and it didn't really matter to me. I had no problems what so ever with UPlay. But if you however want to play it on console I had no difficulties with Xbox what so ever. And the game is awesome; you're sure in for a treat! :)

The touch screen on the Wii U gamepad is really good for battles. You can just touch the enemy you want to attack. On the downside, there's no DLC for the Wii U version - not that you need it.

Definitely a great game. I played through it three times on Wii U, once by myself and twice with my son. I haven't played it on PC yet so can't compare the versions.

Thanks. I plan on getting a Wii U for my birthday, and I'm not particularly interested in the DLC.

I think it would be best to get the Xbox version especially if you have an Xbox One X with its improved graphics and performance. I also read the Golem's Plight Pack dlc is very good which you don't have on Wii U.

Guess Wii U have more intuitive controllers like the touch screen for Igniculus and... Optimized.
idk if the Switch version has the same function, but I hope it so, and, if this would have... this would be a great device to play this... Portable.
