Fire Behind

Does this skill not work or is it a visual issue? I have gotten this to 100% and beyond multiple times, but when I watch my towers fire they are not also shooting behind them.

But I have also noticed that even on max effects not all projectiles show up so I am wondering if they just are visually represented. For instance, I have at least witnessed Firing Again working, though it seems like it either doesn't work every time or it has the same visual bug(feature?) that may be affecting Fire Behind.

There is a max projectiles shown on screen, the bullets still fire but we dont see them anymore. Last patch this was introduced to help with performance, but as you say it doesnt make it very clear how tower multi-shots work.

in the options there is the "no / low / high effects" box, if set to "high" all bullets are shown (as far as i can see).

Even with high settings, not all projectiles are shown atm.
