Hello everyone. I am creating this thread for players to share their feedback about Square City Builder. Bugs and opinions are welcome!

Hi! It would be nice if the game has an ability to save last previous window size & windowed settings. Having it blasting on my full screen makes the 16-bit appearance harder to grasp and I have to change the resolution settings every time I start the game. Tried bypassing the resolution settings through Steam Launch Options, but that didn't work.

Really love this simple game btw! I'm happy to see there's still updates every now and then :)
I have yet to explore the game mechanics, as of for now, I don't have much to comment about.

EDIT: After some time of playing and exploring, I would also like to request for the possibility to Delete game saves.

I'm thinking of making a guide for this game so that people would feel more confident to play :) Would like to ask more questions and give opinions when I discover more!

I cannot actually get the game to work, since it has no mouse support. Therefore can't press any buttons on the main menu, nor move any cursor using arrow keys. Enter doesn't work either.

The only thing I can do is change the name of the city on the main screen.

Hello, actually you can play, but the mouse is a bit misaligned, it's stuck in one of the corners of the screen. If you move it, it returns to the screen. We will fix this bug and release an update today!

The mouse appears on screen now but is completely unusable even at 1% mouse speed. It moves so quickly its almost impossible to click anything. I tried changing resolution but that only made things worse.

Only if I very gingerly move the mouse at the top left of the screen does the mouse even appear in game. Not locking to to the window even in fullscreen mode makes it even more difficult.

What mouse are you using, and at what frequency are you running it? This information can help us solve the bug. A bugfix will be released soon.

Razer Deathadder v2, I don't know its frequency. More seems like some weird resolution mismatch? Since it only works when I am in the top left corner of that screen.

Well, since you're using a Razer mouse, a temporary workaround until we release the next update is to lower your mouse DPI using the Synapse software. This video link shows you step-by-step: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dj0P8Ve6Nos

Did not help at all, I give up at this point. Not even in window mode is the game playable, due to how microscopic it becomes.
