It is kinda weird to not make the remaster available in 170 countries while the original is also being delisted. People in these countries who haven't purchased this game yet will not be able to experience HZD ever again.

Seeing how "remasters" are done (like Until Dawn) and adding the PSN reqs, i'm sure the original will remain superior to the new one, will run better in most computers and don't has any external mandatory account. So no, thanks, i will keep my copy of the original game.

..and if people are smart, they boycott Ubi and EA for this very reason. I haven't bought more than 20$ worth of EA games in my life (humble bundle had some origin stuff and I spent 10$ on the two Titanfalls which in turn made me realize what infinite garbage their launchers are) and I only ever had uPlay for when they handed out free games like Epic. Will never give Ubisoft one damn cent if the game is launcher bound, either.

The only vote a consumer has is their purchase decision and just about everyone I ever met is willing to throw it all away to be part of the hype and get their 0day gaming crack.

Same reaseon I didn't buy Hell Divers. I stoped buying games on release. For Hell Divers I waited a cople of months, but than the controversy about the PSN requirement happend and I instantly loste every interessent in that game.

I'll never purchase another sony game on PC because i refuse to make a PSN account. I don't need one and never will. I'm going to buy Forbidden west so i can enjoy it if it goes on sale or if it doesn't i don't care.

You are shooting yourself in the foot just like you did with Helldivers 2. I refunded that on the spot because i will not make a PSN account.

Its the principle of the matter more than anything else. You waste our time and money on things noone wants instead people have been dieing for Bloodborne on PC for years. I would actually consider a PSN account for that because I've wanted to play it again that badly. But go ahead and waste a billion on things no one wants. Everyone knows what game i'm talking about.

The way I see it, DRMs allow an opportunity to recover purchased games if the retailer goes under. I don't know if that is what their plan is or not, but at least it is a distinct possibility.

I was in the middle of my first play-through when this came up, so I am playing other titles until the Remaster is released.

I am looking forward to the upgraded graphics.

Will we still have access to the old version for steam deck play? ... Also 6 slot weapon wheel? :D
