This is called the “Works On My Machine” syndrome. It can affect coders as well as gamers, and even those who are both. There is a badge to put on the computer to make ourselves and people laugh, and it allows us to never forget that each setup is different, even clones.

The OP has a point though: The vast majority complaining about performance, crashes or similar posting to moan, but rarely provide any specs.
Usually it is: "but game xyz is running fine". The "Search" function seems to unknown to most as well.
I like reading the posts, but won't reply to 99% because of the above.

It's also that if at the release there were a lot of bugs, the various patches and especially the last two have been decisive in solving almost the majority of gameplay and performance issues. Even me, I was able to go from Medium (1.0) to Very High settings (1.3) thanks to framegen and upscaling compared to West, and a lot of little things that bothered me have been fixed. Thus yes, reporting here is necessary, especially if one doesn't want to open a ticket, otherwise no patch. But not using the search function is annoying, therefore duplicates, that's for sure.

There is also a cognitive bias that sometimes makes people think that opening a new thread will solve the problem. But such a forum is not a support ticket system where doing that is necessary. This is not the case here, unless one provides relevant information, but bringing a thread back up is better, that's for sure.

On the other hand, such criticism about a certain type of complaint is not constructive here, it's useless, especially since they are a priori no longer valid. It seems to me that there are only a few final adjustments left, and patch 1.5 should be a milestone that will confirm 1.3 and 1.4.
