Months of daily work cost nothing? Indeed... no need to pay for food, housing, electricity, water, materials and work tools, supplies, employees, actors, devs, managers, cleaners, taxes, or even yourself who has never played the original game it seems thus your opinion is useless.
$10 for the upgrade to have a more beautiful game almost like West is just a gift to old players, because usually remasters cost more, but let's not say that.
If you don't like this game, let the players enjoy it and move on, because here, slanderous propaganda is futile and vain, no matter the subject.
I have seen postings of players saying that steam keeps a database of refunds and if you become a regular refund-er they reserve the right to refuse you
NOTE ... you got your facts wrong as well , its 2 hours or 2 weeks NOT 7 days
Abuse: Refunds are designed to remove the risk from purchasing titles on Steam—not as a way to get free games. If it appears to us that you are abusing refunds, we may stop offering them to you. We do not consider it abuse to request a refund on a title that was purchased just before a sale and then immediately rebuying that title for the sale price.
Gift is not charged. Remasters are not remakes, this costs the studio practically nothing. This is done by tiny teams, perhaps by a single dev. Graphic upgrades should be done to attract new buyers, not to farm infinite money on top of the game you've already purchased. It must be updated for free like Mafia 2, The Witcher 3, Doom, and others..
Don't forget the community of modders, who often do incredibly better work alone and for free than the studio itself. Games like GTA IV perfectly exemplify what I'm saying.
I'm not encouraging anyone to get the game for free through refunds, because there's no way to do that. I just showed that it is possible to test and evaluate whatever you want, according to the refund request guidelines. I also did not violate any community rules with this post.

A favor, if you prefer than the gift word.
For you 6 to 12 months, I guess, to be calibrated according to the number of people obviously because I don't know, of full-time work costs nothing, not to mention the hours spent on patches for over a month?
Great. Let's all work without pay, everyone, all over the planet, and therefore no longer pay taxes that are supposed to protect our lives, our education, our health, our property, our peace in addition to roads and bridges. Let's make the world a post-apocalyptic world like in movies and games.
But who want that? Would you agree to work for free for three months for example? No, I'm sure.
I for my part enjoyed the Remastered, and now, with more QoL features like transmog, it's even more worth it.
One of the few games I played more than once - and enjoyed every single run.
And I don't even respond to the "it's no work" part, clearly has no idea about gaming development so doesn't make sense to discuss that topic.
Jokes aside - I think 10€ for this remaster s a very fair prize, even if I paid only 13€ for the Complete Edition during the christmas sale last year. ^^
