Where could there be any curse for the Horizon saga? It is a blessing of benevolent semiosis, thanks to a masterful and flawless realization despite the bugs inherent in any software, and which in fact reduces to nothing any slander about it by itself. I think even Motiram will get through, but I don't know for now.

In any case, if no episode or remaster is appreciated as much as any film, or if critics put too much negative pressure to the point of disgusting the public, this semiosis about civilizations and technologies will remain forever in some hearts as is customary: "time is unimportant, only life is important" (Luc Besson).

But a movie that failed to the point of being worthless would be detrimental, that's for sure.

Just that in the past a lot of movies based off popular games haven't really captured the story the games created and the actual feel of those worlds. Often key plot points get butchered to fit a 2 hour film.

I don't think that you could honestly tell the Horizon story in just one film. It would have to be 2 or even 3 films to do the story any real justice.
I know few movies derived from games, thus of course this is only my personal opinion. For example the Tomb Raider are nice, especially the last one which is very successful from a semiotic point of view against the wicked as much as from the realization. Also Dead Rising which is nice while I don't really like the game. Also Uncharted was interesting, as well as Assassin's Creed, but I never played the games. As for Resident Evil, the movies like the animes I haven't seen everything but it's gripping, different from games. And concerning Final Fantasy, I never play games, but The Spirits Within, it was, how to say, no nothing to say except that no slander can counter it, like the rest, when you know: the malicious are wasting their time for nothing like poker maniacs.

Is English your first language?
No, French. Why? I use Google Translate. Here's a version corrected by ChatGPT:

I know of a few movies derived from games, so of course, this is just my personal opinion. For example, the Tomb Raider movies are enjoyable, especially the latest one, which is very successful from a semiotic point of view, both in terms of its portrayal of the wicked and its overall execution. Dead Rising is also interesting, even though I’m not particularly fond of the game. Uncharted was interesting, as well as Assassin's Creed, though I never played the games. As for Resident Evil, I haven't seen all the movies or the anime, but it’s gripping and distinct from the games. Regarding Final Fantasy, I’ve never played the games, but The Spirits Within... well, how should I put it? There's nothing more to say except that no slander can undermine it, like the rest, when you know: the malicious are wasting their time for nothing, much like poker maniacs.

I wondered that...... I thought you might not be an english speaking person and thought your posts were written with help from a bot. Just the flow of the words

But with ChatGPT's correction of Google Translate's version, did you understand my point? Because that's what matters, not the word flow bugs, because only an AI that is not at ChatGPT's level could not understand. And humans will always outperform AI, no matter how much fear of software is instilled: these are just abacuses, used for good or evil that is the question.

If the game gets a movie, we all know... Aloy will be black and queer!

Aloy is already queer in the games, although admittedly that doesn't get revealed in Zero Dawn. But I really doubt they will change her iconic look.

What I won't be surprised about though is if they make the Nora look a bit less Native American. That seemed to have, pun intended... ruffled some feathers, at the release of HZD. There are also some Viking influences in the Nora, so maybe they lean into that a bit more and Aloy looks less out of place.

I personally think those criticisms were lazy and made by people who didn't bother to play the whole game and learn the reasons for things being the way they are in the game world... but it's like complaining about the weather. All these people needed to see was a white girl who appeared to be cosplaying Native American and they were ready to give their hot takes.

I know she is queer, but it didn't feel real. Felt so damn pushed. Like everyone is queer all of a sudden. Like it HAS TO BE this way. Seemed so forced. That's why I won't accept it for myself. I dislike it. At least make it feel real, not so forced.
