The Remaster includes few Quality of Life features (auto-pickup/no-animation pickup; transmogrification of outfits...), and there are graphical and animation improvements.
That's it.
edit: feel very much like Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice? nah dog aint gonna happen. I know that remaster edition is just another cog in the marketing. And those users will be treated to a "Remastered Complete: No We Really Mean It This Time Edition" later on.
The Complete Edition is, indeed, a complete edition. However, it's running on a version of their engine that has its limitations. One of the big ones is the Level of Detail problem, where as soon as a character walks mere 2 meters away from the 'camera', their face model gets reduced and, specifically, their eyebrows disappear. This is particularly jarring.
The Remastered version required a lot of effort and charging just 10 dollars for it seems reasonable. If you actually want an analogy, it would be more like when you visit your car dealer/warranty shop after 3 years and they say "We'd like to replace the battery in your car with a newer model, but we need to charge the cost of the battery. It will charge faster and hold charge better in cold weather."
If you don't like the offer, then don't buy it. Stick with your complete edition and be happy with it.
There is stuff to criticize in this Remaster, such as the fact that they didn't fix Quest bugs or add the option to skip "Climbing up a wall with the help of someone else" animation, but the cost is not one of those things, in my view.
Complete Edition = All DLCs from Version 1
Remastered = Version 2 mainly with 3D Engine Upgrade
It's not the same and it's months of work
HZD was released for PC 4 years ago.
They remastered it with better graphics and added some small features.
If you own the original, it's up to you to decide if €10 or $ is worth the upgrade.
If you're buying it the 1st time, no change, except the hardware requirements.
From the post here, it seems you still can get the original at a lower price somewhere.
There's a point to argue about the PSN requirement, but that's another topic.
So: Where is "the scam"?
The older version which was released years ago, was a complete edition similar to the remastered one. Where did you get the info that the old version was incomplete?
The remastered version looks better very much closer to what HFW looks like, there are also quality of life improvements, character models, facial expressions, etc. If you own the older version you only pay 10$ which is worth the upgrade you would get.
Also there will be no remastered complete edition in the future, the current and the previous ones were all the complete editions.
PSN requirement for SP game is an argument but that's a different thing, personally I do not have any issue with it.
Seems you don't have a clue what you are talking about... anyway it is pointless since you do not even own the game.
PS: Next time learn about things before making absurd comments.
