ANYONE ELSE HAVE TO REBOOT THEIR COMPUTER EVERY TIME THEY PLAY REMASTERED?
I have a rig that can easily handle high graphics settings for HZD remastered, but every time I open the game, it automatically presets everything to low, and when I change it back to high, I get pixels on the screen. But when I reboot my computer and start the game back up, it works fine and runs effortlessly. Anyone else have this happen?

I have a Ryzen 5800X, RX6600, Windows 10, and I’ve never had such issue.

Could you clarify what you mean by "it automatically presets everything to low"? Is the game resetting the settings each time you start it, or is it something else? And when you mention "pixels on the screen," are you seeing graphical glitches or artifacts? This part is a bit unclear.

I also don't see why a reboot would be necessary to make the game work. Does it only happen when you adjust the settings, or does it happen every time you launch the game?

It sounds like there might be an issue with your graphic settings not being applied correctly or maybe a driver issue. Have you tried updating your graphics drivers or verifying the game files on Steam?

From ChatGPT: It's worth noting that Nvidia drivers and some Nvidia cards have been causing a lot of issues lately. There have been reports of instability, crashes, and performance problems, especially with newer games or specific setups. The automatic graphics settings management could be conflicting with the drivers, or the drivers themselves might be causing the issue. It might help to check if your drivers are up to date, or even try rolling back to a previous driver version to see if that resolves the problem. Additionally, make sure there are no issues with overclocking or power management settings that could be affecting the game's performance.

(this sums up everything I've read here for months about nvidia, not to mention the connectors on the latest cards literally burning out, hopefully this will be resolved in the future)
