It will still not give you PROPER Gyro support tho.. 1000% sure it is going to be the same exact HFW "Gyro to Right Stick emulation" implementation which is.. sickness and vomit inducing.. I've had to play like that as the game does also NOT support MIXED INPUT.. You can EITHER play mouse/keyboard OR gamepad.. IN 2024!.. AND THEY WANT MONEY FOR THIS..
This article doesn't mention that the Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers will work on PC.
It states it will work on PS5 (duh)...
"Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered takes full advantage of the PS5 console’s power and features. The DualSense controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers ensure incredible immersion during tense combat, stealthy exploration, or scaling a gigantic Tallneck. We’ve integrated custom haptics for the DualSense controller throughout the game, providing tactile feedback that heightens immersion. "
However, the Steam store page now DOES say that it will work (wired):
"Feel every arrow fly with full support for the DualSense® controller, including adaptive trigger and haptic feedback functionality.⁴
⁴Wired connection required to experience the full range of in-game controller features."
I am 1000% sure they've used the same engine as HFW, as such, the same exact controller input implementation. So, other than the UI itself, there should be feature parity, including the God AWFUL "Gyro to Right Stick" emulation instead of PROPER Gyro (mouse like precision and responsiveness) support
