Where are we with controller users being able to play the game?

Problem with the controller

Sometimes there are problems with the PS4 controller, specifically with the R2 button. I think this problem occurs when making quick changes when aiming and shooting an arrow, when trying to perform the same operation with the keyboard and the mouse it seems not to be affected.

Most of the time I have to spam the A button to be able to loot (Xbox controller). There is also a random lack of responsiveness in the menu, very annoying. No problem with the mouse.

I think this problem occurs when I change weapons and quickly aim, at that moment the R2 button stops working when you want to shoot arrows.

Disabling Steam input fixed the issue.

For a moment. Later on the problem returns. Game is bugged.

It's not just controller input affected, on M&KB you can't run forward after looting can take a couple of seconds, also drawing your bow after using the weapon wheel can be problematic too.
defo needs some patches

having similar issues, can still aim but can't shoot at all for seemingly no reason. I think there's some issues with how controls change between menus and gameplay.

The same problem happened to me. When I press R2 to throw the arrow, it doesn't work. Or it suddenly stops in the middle of the battle. It caused the heroine to die more than once.

I remember when I bought Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition on PC, there was a problem with the Shader not being completed. And the game stopped a lot. I think I deleted the game and downloaded it more than 5 times.

And the same problem with the Shader not being completed also happened to me with Horizon Forbidden West on PC.

I don't know if the company that made this game is only on Sony. Or if the game wasn't ready to be downloaded on PC.

I have reached the stage of Kill the Corruptors and the Cultists - The City Of the Sun.

I don't know if I should complete the game. Or if I should have a problem with R2 stopping working. ?!

Hopefully if enough people send them log files and saves they will be able to do something about it.

Lol being in the middle of battle, and you can't use your weapons is a pretty big bug.

Under Properties -> Controller -> Override for Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered

There are 3 options:

Disable Steam Input
Use Default Settings
Enable Steam Input

So far I'm using the middle option, Use Default Settings with my KingKong 2 Switch Pro Controller

I'm having the same problem here, and I've tried several of the things mentioned above, but the problem keeps coming back. Will there be a quick patch to fix it?
