Bugs I've encountered so far
-Launcher and game are trying to use a display I have plugged into my GPU but not enabled
-Won't save some of my video settings
-Audio volumes are all over the place including almost none in cut scenes
-Graphics flickering along with some pop in
-Benchmark won't launch at all It just stays at a black screen with sound in the background no matter what settings I change.

Something went wrong while displaying this content. Refresh

-Launcher settings don't save
-Benchmark crashes during results screen (Disable HDR as a workaround, Nixxes is aware)
-Similar audio issues as OP
-Have to manually force stop the game in steam when quitting

I managed to fix my crashing issue with the benchmark by turning off DLSS and just using DLAA. If anyone else is having crashing problems with the benchmark maybe that will help.

Turning off HDR does solve the benchmark crash when you try to exit it.

Audio is low on only the pre-rendered cut scenes. (Why there are pre-rendered cut scenes in the game I have no idea when on FW all cut scenes were in engine and only pre-rendered on the PS4)

I also have to hit STOP in Steam. The funny thing is when you goto task manager the .exe is no longer running. For some reason Steam does not know that the .exe is no longer running and just sits there waiting.

I opened a ticket with Nixes on the game not properly shutting down, and to let them know of my displeasure with the pre-rendered cut scenes at the end of the game as they break immersion as just like in the original Aloy is wearing her outfit at the beginning of the game.

Very inconsistent FPS. I start off just fine around 60 - 70 FPS on High settings but when something in the game changes like a cut scene or I go to the menu it drops to 30 FPS and then it stays there even when I leave the menu or the cut scene is over. Sometimes toggling FSR on and off brings the FPS back up again but not always. Specs: AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor, 64Gb of RAM.

Doesn't happen to me at all. Post your benchmark results, let's see if what you're saying is BS or not.

The pre-rendered scenes are probably because they are quick cut camera from location to location and different times of day.

The having to force stop is due to the PS SDK not closing which is why the game doesn't show. Oddly it will stop by itself on very rare occasions

For me, initial launch, in PSN linking phase, In game PSN account creation failed. Had to go to the website, worked there. Then link and succeedeed. But this can be due to high load due to new users.

After linking, after the introduction cinematic, HZD logo is displayed, before the main menu appears game crashes on FIRST launch.

Second try, game goes to the main menu. No available NG+ so the save games at least in my case did not carry from the original version to this Remastered one. Well, I can start from scratch, many will not want to do it and shout about it .

So far, it's working well in Win11 and 2080 gpu maxed settings, of but I don't need more than 1080p and 60Hz so it should too.

I instantly noticed the issues with audio switching from being too low to high and such.

Also visual glitches within the first ten minutes. This is pretty pathetic.

I am seeing decreased volume output on pre-rendered scenes as compared with the rest of gameplay.

I also have framerate drops during conversations with npc's, accompanied by flickering lighting.

I'm sure patches will fix these issues! I remember there being similar issues with HFW at launch.

Great port of the remaster so far otherwise!

Yeah, apart for required PSN account, it is a keeper :) Just hate to need another PC gaming account .... But that's life of a gamer these days :P
