L2 trigger issues with controllers...

I started played the remastered version which is all fantastic and all but the issue is everytime i try to aim and shoot, I press L2 on my gamepad but my aim always fluctuates, like, even if i pressed L2 and hold it, the aim keeps fluctuating between on anf off....
