Unable to launch, no internet connection?

Game opens, gets through to the image adjustments but comes to a splash screen game requires internet connection to connect to psn network. pc and steam have active connection, drivers fully upto date-.

any help appreciated

update- nixxes support reached out, in the error log i sent them PSN log in was failing,
add -showlinkingqr to launch options

could be a firewall issue restart PC and google something like "open firewall for steam"

First thing i checked, firewall definitely not blocking it- restarted pc a few times but to far same issue

I linked Steam and PSN accounts via HFW main menu and QR code and got two outfit unlocks. Tried to start game and it gave me the no internet error. Launched with SteamDeck=1 %COMMAND%, got an outfit unlock and it started. Crashed during the intro movie though. Was also slow and stuttery.

I've verified files, no luck, re downloaded the game no luck either

Same issue here. I can launch any other Steam game. Yet, when I go into HZD, I choose the language and HDR settings, and it tells me I am not connected to the internet.

I am betting the Sony servers are under stress and it cant get a spot, but I am not sure. I know it is PAST my release window by an hour... so it should be "available"...

I've submitted a ticket to nixxes so hopefully they'll fix it sooner rather than later

Mam ten sam problem. PSN network nie ma połączenia. To nie wina firewalla. Co robić?

Do you receive a message via windows that Sony SDK refused to launch as it's older version? If so your Windows Installer might have an issue. Open Task Manager and force end Windows Installer. Then reopen Horizon and see if it installs Sony SDK properly.

I did this and the issue was resolved.

Same issue here. All other Steam games are ok. But no luck with Horizon...

I found a solution for myself thanks to Reddit. Add -showlinkingqr as the launch options. After that it worked.
