Machine lights too bright?
Anyone else finds the machine lights way too bright in the remaster? I can barely see the robots especially the watchers when they look in my direction, which means its much harder to hit soft points.

This is certainly a huge downgrade in terms of game clarity compared to original and I really hope this will be tuned down or reverted to original

Just disable lens flare, it's the major cause of the increasing amount of lights, otherwise with it disabled, you can see a lot better without being obstructed by the extra lights across your screen

But if you are genuinely talking about the lights on machines, for me, even with lens flare enabled or even disabled, it looks fine to me & can see clearly enough

It makes it more realistic, so I keep it on. You shouldn't let them stare straight at you, but rather attack them from a very very slight angle which still allows you to roflstomp em without being blinded.

I think it might have been bug with some specific weather or something, afterwards even though the light was still very strong it wasnt blinding anymore.

I will try to disable it. Perhaps some unwanted interaction is happening here.

Can't say I've noticed any difference in machine lights brightness between Complete and Remastered. I am playing on HDR1000 too. They are bright, but not obscuring any detail at all. At least not unless the Watchers do that stun flash thing, but that's *supposed* to blind you.

in original it was just a glow, and was really only popping during night. In remaster you can see the robots literally from 500 meters because of the glow. And watchers when they aim their search light at you, you cant really see much around them in the cone shaped area. (but as I said before, it must have been some weird interaction)

if it happens again I will make a screenshot.

Are you using HDR? I've noticed the machine lights are very bright with it enabled.
