Updated AMD Fidelity FX files for FSR
* Please ignore the troll saying the files are not safe. *

Here are the updated files for FSR, just drop the DLL's into the folder containing the game exe and overwrite or make copies of the originals.

These files update the FSR incremental version so 3.1.x for example and is for ALL USERS and is NOT part of a driver or specifically for AMD

https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ed801w2arnhpv02kzw9pw/AMD.7z?rlkey=1jibrxfk39paubgy2ohsxugdl&st=yqmudf1x&dl=0

Hopefully this will help.

It should also work for any FSR3 game.

It will trigger a Shader Compilation

++ These files will be replaced by the original version by a patch or verification I have notified Nixxes of the updated dll's so I hope they implement them ++

(You may need to Copy and paste the link to get past the 400 error due to steams forwarding method)

They are from AMD's GPUOpen project https://gpuopen.com/ or https://github.com/GPUOpen-LibrariesAndSDKs just repackaged in a 7z for ease of use

I just shared the 2 files needed to update the FSR3 Version to a newer one (same can be done with DLSS) There is a file for the Vulkan runtime that I did not include as Horizon ZDR/FW do not use it.

For DLSS you can use: https://github.com/beeradmoore/dlss-swapper

It will allow you to easily change the files for any game that is compatible (dlss 2 and up)

{Note: DO NOT UPDATE the AMD files for multiplayer games as they are part of the checks and could cause problems}

[SINGLE PLAYER GAMES ARE FINE - You can alter most files in single player games the DLL's for FSR and DLSS (possibly XeSS too) you CAN change]

It's for the FSR upscaler which is part of AMD's FidelityFX system, only since FSR3 has updating the version through dll's been possible.

In theory it should improve things for eveyone, not every updated version will improve performance, sometimes you won't notice it but you will see it in image quality or less ghosting

Doesn't work for FSR 1 or 2 though

Don't use with multiplayer games either
works with Horizon Forbidden West too

I didn't include the file for the Vulkan runtime
Ok. Has rx6800xt and use fsr 3, so will try. Thanks for that.

Ok cool, let me know how it goes :)

I feel that everything runs smoother. I'm using VSR resolution 5120x2160@75 for 2560x1080@75 monitor and FSR quality + FG. I tried without FSR + FG and only FSR quality without FG, but the FPS count didn't really change after swapping dll files. If FSR quality + FG+VSync is enabled, then both before and after the change I have a constant 75FPS. However, I have the impression that everything runs smoother (it's easier for me to aim at targets). I also tried AMD AntiLag2, but it still cuts, so I stay with the old AntiLag set from the AMD panel.

Glad it helped in some way at least

thanks! unfortunately fsr3 still has horrible ghosting on particles and transparencies in zero dawn, the dlss enabler mod version is still superior as the ghosting is greatly reduced.

Sorry to hear that, hoped it helped in other ways.

Not without padded walls anyway

thanks op! do you know if there is a anyway to decouple FSR 3 from the FSR native TAA because i think its the FSR native TAA causing the ghosting on the bugs, and particles that are usually always in scene.

If you want to obtain these files directly from GPUOpen:

https://github.com/GPUOpen-LibrariesAndSDKs/AGS_SDK/blob/master/ags_lib/lib/amd_ags_x64.dll

https://github.com/GPUOpen-LibrariesAndSDKs/FidelityFX-SDK/blob/main/PrebuiltSignedDLL/amd_fidelityfx_dx12.dll
Or just download the exact same files in a 7z format which is easier to download.

Don't spread misinformation about someone who is trying to help, Someone has replied that it helped so you can delete your personal opinion that is spreading misinformation.
Not sure why you are going so hard on this, you may be legit and just trying to help people but you should also understand why people are advising not to download something from someone's dropbox. DLLs can be modified to do some harmful things so if you are trying to help I advise you to upload these to nexus as at least that gives some semblance of protection against the files being malware.

I don't sorry, I think thats hard-coded to FSR I think, DLSS is the same showing DLAA as antialiasing when using DLSS uspscaling.

I'm not a modder, I'm literally just trying to help people with this game and making people aware that with FSR3 now you can change the dll's to update the incremental version like you can DLSS, I provided source links for anyone savvy enough to make something like DLSS Swapper or to grab the files manually themselves, admittedly the source links were put up after a troll started derailing the thread but have made a few additions to info on the main post

Tried the files on a Radeon RX 6600. Did not hurt anything, and may have been a tiny bit smoother or +1 FPS, did not really do any tests and then uninstalled the game because of the new restricted FOV (even at max) and the fact it runs like the original did three generations of hardware back.

The new FOV on MAX vs Original on 90 of 100. Also, the Remaster doesn't look better, just different, arguably worse.
https://i.postimg.cc/90rF7ZZk/hzd.gif

I finally got to the point the original runs a 90+ FPS native, high settings. I sure as heck don't want to go back to 47-60 FPS, medium settings, and all blurry/crawly/pixelated/hazy because of upscaling for the tiniest visual upgrade in certain locations and worse in others. This version is different, but not better. Bah!

Pro tip: Don't try these dll's in the original, it will crash immediately at launch.

the file you've provided is 1.0.1.39157 but there is 1.0.2.37812 already out, see my list of latest fsr/xess/dlss files here https://ibb.co/2tRBjhB

I searched around and found that newer version, no idea the actual source of it though. Tested it out and it made no difference over the 1.0.1.39157 version from:
Updated FSR FidelityFX SDK v1.1.3:
https://github.com/GPUOpen-LibrariesAndSDKs/FidelityFX-SDK/releases

both have nasty pixelated moving textures, like water falls, white water in rivers, and bad ghosting trails on blowing debris, dust, butterflies (look like weird globs of translucent pixels), etc. XeSS was much better, on my RX 6600.
