Is no one able to offer guidance?
Is the game now so old that no one plays it? Or is this problem so easy that no one has ever considered it a problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You start with one boulder. When you control the Devourer, you can see runes inscribed on the tiles in front of the door. Look at the runes. Some are duplicated twice, some are duplicated three times, etc...
To open the door, you need to roll the single boulder onto the tile that has a rune which only appears once. When you do this, a secret door will open and you'll get another boulder to push around. Next find the double-runes; the runes that are duplicated twice. Roll one boulder on to each of those tiles and another secret door will open and give you a 3rd boulder. Now you have 3 boulders, place them on the tiles with the 3 identical runes...
I can't remember if there's a fourth iteration of this before you can open the door, or if the 3rd iteration is the final one. In any case, if you get a 4th boulder, it should be obvious what to do with it. Otherwise, the door opens and you can finally kill that last werewolf fanatic!
This game was so awesome and I enjoyed it so much, it would have genuinely been a shame if it were unplayable due to some tough bits for which there were no help. Those parts where I got stuck were tricky enough and I was lucky enough to have either found appropriate solutions online, or I muddled through it myself.
The part that itches my sack is the nagging concern that I'm missing stuff here and/ or there. I like being able to play a game like Baldur's Gate (or such) and to know that I'm not missing some secret here or some bonus there. Unfortunately, this game didn't generate enough community love for people to have built websites that covered these kinds of mysteries. So it's up to people like us...
Glad my input helped.
