QT Initialize error und Badmojo Hacks error

Wie der Titel schon sagt, diese beiden Fehler bekomme ich angezeigt, was anschenend das Abspielen der Videos betrifft. Das neueste Quicktime hab ich (mit Widerwillen) Installiert, ohne Erfolg. Irgendjemand eine Idee?

I'm getting this same error as well. Looks like the game will run, but I believe it will not run the QuickTime videos. Anybody with a fix for this??

Achja, das hatte ich nicht erwähnt, das Spiel läuft, aber die videos nicht. Hab micht echt auf ein modern remake gefreut mit vollbild videos, weil ich das original noch auf cd hab. Hoffentlich kommt bald ein Patch.

Spielt es eine Rolle, welche version ich nutze? Version 3.2.2. scheint nichts zu nützen. Den softonic link muss ich ablehnen, da kann ich gleich meine Virenscanner abschalten und auf torrent Seiten sürfen.

Thanks Brejan. I noticed that the current QuickTime alternative lags behind Apple updates since it has not been updated since 2010. Does this mean I have to sacrifice current QuickTime for iTunes to ultimately play this game? I noticed the forum instructions advise that you uninstall your current installed version of QuickTime.

Just realised that using the launcher.exe in the directory ki9nda works. The game will run but without showing the videos...

I am still unable to get the game to run. I tried uninstalling quicktime and installing quicktime alternative. I still get the qthook.dll_unloaded error, it crashes the second the game loads. This happens even if I start the game with launcher.exe.

The strange thing is, the first time I tried launcher.exe, it worked. The game started. But I heard that it won't play the videos if I do that, and the videos are a big part of the fun of this game. So I untinstalled the version of QT I had (I don't remember what version it was now) and tried QT Alt instead, and now even launcher.exe won't work. I also tried the latest version of QT from Apple, and that also doesn't work. The game won't run at all now, with any version of quicktime.

Any suggestions? I don't understand what happened.

I've left a negative review for the game, because I think people should know about this issue before they spend money on it, and surprisingly, there is only one review that says the game doesn't work. If you'd like to back me up on this, please go give my review a "thumbs up" so people actually see it and it doesn't get lost in the mix.
