Art room puzzle TOO FAST Plays itself

Trying to play the puzzle in the art room but the game pretty much plays it by itself. Your suppose to pic 1 section of the art back and forth but I only get to click 1 or 2 times before it's over. Tried using the CTRL - but that did nothing. Is there a work around or do I have to let the game solve it and go on and hope it doesn't happen again? Tried asking support but they didn't respond. Thanks for any tips.

You got it wrong!! I can't play the game because it plays ITSELF!!! ( Atleast that part of it it flies through in 2 seconds ).

oh.. my bad.. go to game folder, there you'll find ddraw.ini file. maxfps=60
