Stuck at the cork
The hubs enjoyed 7th Guest, so I've been trying to get him to play this one for some time. When it popped up on here, he got and today started playing.
However, he can't even get past the second anagram. The wine bottle and cork offer nothing to let us click on it, no eyeball, no grabby hand, nothing. Having played this before, I know that's what we should be doing at this stage.
Is it a bug that needs a fix? Cheers

Yeah, I gave up after even asking the last person to moderate that game... which resulted in them being a private account next time I looked. =/ I've given up, but game is unplayable...

You have to solve the puzzles in each room before it will let you look at items in each respective room. EG: solve the puzzle in Brian Dutton's room to be able to interact with items in Brian Dutton's room. So my guess is, you have to solve the cash register puzzle in Brian Dutton's room before you can touch the the cork/bottle.

Johns723 - I really appareciate the reply, espcially on something so old. As I have played the game through , I knew this and he had completed that puzzle. Unfortunately, for some reason the cork wouldn't give the next cutscene. =(
