Selling old Equipment is allready possible. Go in the direction of the Coast/Christmass Tree and then on the right side of the Street there is a little shop where you can sell old equipment. i guess its right before the crossing.
But your second idea i like :)
Correct me if I am wrong but I believe the security person is somewhat on shift work. I mean he seems to have a day off once in a while. Some days he doesnt show up, so that mean I have to deal with the pervs in the gym besides minding the front desk as well as doing renovations/upgrades. It would be nice to have security there every day. Having the ability to hire more staff and manage schedules for them would be helpful and usefull and it woud add to the immersion of the game, especially since there are 2 big floors. Besides all that, it would then allow you (as the owner and manager of the gym) to have a day off once in a while to walk my dog and explore the neighborhood. Ive done a little exploring and I have noticed there is a lot of room for expansion of other businesses and shops in the neighborhood. This leads to another idea I have for the game.
With so much room in the neighborhood for shops and other stuff, perhaps another gym could pop up, that could sort of be like competition to your gym. Then you would have to adjust your membership prices and packages to remain competitive. Make the game so that you have to pay attention to a competitive gyms prices and packages or you could go bankrupt. The game as it is now is way too easy as far as making money. Ive barely filled up the second floor with gym equipment and I already have over half a million dollars. Im making more money than I can even spend. That is highly unrealistic.
On a related note, perhaps the prices of bottled water and other drinks and food could fluctuate and you have to go to another supplier for cheaper prices.
These are just a few ideas I have and I am sure I will come up with more in the future.
In my opinion, it would be better to make a game instead of conveying these ideas to the producers :D
- also maybe have different selection of colors on equipment
- set prices on vending and protein shakes ect.
- gym merchandise
