easy anti-cheat is not installed

решил сыграть в данное чудо, но при запуске выдает ошибку "easy anti-cheat is not installed". Мб кто-нибудь знает решение этой проблемы?

install easy anticheat with the setup file in the game folder -> Windows -> EasyAnticheat

The file is there, but it is not starting. The process kills itself immediately after you try to run it as admin. I tried reinstalling the game, but no luck.

that's usually when it detects cheats are installed on your computer. when it does that, however, it usually gives you a notification on the bottom right telling you what the problem is. are you sure no cheating programs (even for other games) and/or cheat engine are not installed/running on your pc?

also, please try running the file, and then the command line argument "install"

Nope, it does not give any errors or messages. I also do not have any cheat software installed. I could actually figure it out, so I will post the tutorial here soon.

Same issue here, the easy anti-cheat installer kills itself... What was your solution finally ?

Found it, right-click on steam game, manage, browse local files --> click on the windows file then launch TheBackroomDeluxe.exe

I don't think you can play multiplayer that way, but have fun!

This is happening to me as well.

It seems that it's not installed at all. Even when using Steams built verify install it's not noticing that it's missing for this game.

Any ideas?

I’m sorry for the issues and will try to fix it in the upcoming update(s). I sincerely apologize for the issues with the game.
