will this include a mod manager?

Ugh, yet another bloody launcher.

No mod manager in this version, or anytime soon. There's potential in the future, if we figure out a good solution that makes things overwhelmingly better for players

Does this mean I HAVE to have an account with you guys? I really would rather not have to be held hostage by an email list just to play a game that I paid for. A unique building isn't incentive enough to sign up.

Very disappointing that a launcher is being put out. Theres a reason why people dont follow a companies social media; because they dont want to. Now its being crammed down our throats. I want to play the game, not see all your advertisements, tweets, and other junk.

1. You can easily do that through Steam itself by visiting game store page.
2. You can do all of that ( and you're actually doing it ) through Steam, throughout the years Valve actually made it very easy to manage your store page and community, no comment about spam emails.
3. You can do that through Steam.
4. Steam has discussions section, where you can ask and read through your players suggestions, ideas, bug reports.
6. Steamworks dashboard provides all these features.

Thanks for another unnecessary bloatware launcher and semi-patronizing mediocre excuses about why we need it.

i dont get it...when i start the game, it is full of announcement right and left, always showing i dont own this and that radiostation, which Mods and Assets are new on WS etc, Steam tells me of this*news* in real Time ingame...and i am really concerned, as i know how *good* the default Launcher in WH II f.E. works...just rpay , that it works with Load Optimizing mods.

And that all for what....if i read it right, more Commercial, more Control of what we will be presented with, more Players Data harvesting...and for us Giveaways(only for me..erm...dont own some Radios rest is in Portfolio) and Things they cant tell us now- i am not really hyped.

One thing I would like is having all "online things" removed from the main menu and put on the launcher. ^^

You realize that the game's now gonna get review bombed straight to oblivion because of this, right? This game's still great (ESPECIALLY in comparison to the last official SimCity game) but Paradox, you've done screwed up big time...

Bahh great, yet another ♥♥♥♥♥♥ launcher! I can't wait for the day every ♥♥♥♥♥ game comes with it's own launcher... You can forward that to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the management that made this decision. Looks like the future of gaming for me is "improved" games from "other places" that got these aweful launchers disabled. Sorry, but this launcher doesn't make ANYTHING at all better for me!

@kawazu biscotti
- There's potential to do that now! Still a WIP to make things load easier and better

@slite You don't have to create an account with us, we respect that right =)
Хорошее обновление.

Yeah. How is spending money on making a launcher helping Skylines 2's development?
