Noise pollution commercial - FIX needed!
Is there a mod or anything reducing or disableling the noise polution from selected or all commercial zones without removing noise pollution globally?
I just want to build a normal city and mix commercial into residential.
The comically high noise pollution for commercial is extremely annoying. only the eco extra low rise commercial zones are kind of normal. I want especially the new "wall to wall" and the euro style ones to be normal. I dont want to separate the rico zones, that's stupid and unrealistic. Only car-brain US-Zoning does this ♥♥♥♥ and i dont want to reproduce it in my cities. so is there any solution to this problem which exists ever since the first release?

use "customise it extended" to disable it for selected buildings and "game anarchy" for everything

I have game anarchy, but that's globally and not what im seacrching for.
ill check the other mod though, thx for that. I hope it willl allow changes to groups of building and not necessarily every single building and variant.
thx for this tip!

that doesnt work, i want the buildings wall to wall lean to each other - there is no space in-between. idieally we would have mixed zoning and houses with businesses in the ground flor and residential and / or offices in the upper floors. Thats how a normal city whould work. Since building that is not possible i want them at least in the same block and commercial buildings next to residential. But that doesn't really work either because commercial in CSL is bundled with comical high noise pollution - (like they are testing jet engines in those stores).

What I have done is to convert a commercial building I want to see in the city to a procedural object with that mod. The building remains as a shell filling a wall to wall space, but it no longer functions as a commercial building.

Then I place it between my « real » live commercial buildings and my residential buildings as a buffer. Visually it fills the space. As a buffer it helps provide separation of uses. The downside is the loss of functionality, but I usually find I have a surplus of commercial anyways and not enough well-educated workers to flip all those intellectually challenging burgers.

I do something similar in agricultural area so that I can get actual residential farmhouses in the rural area without the farm families being driven insane with noise.
