No one comes to school

After all issues experienced with my save after new update, I decided to create a completely new city. Now I'm at only 3k citizens, however, having some weird issue that have never happened before.

No one comes to educate themselves - there are 0 kids in school. It shows that more than 300 children are eligible to go, however, no one decides to show up.

Decided to put a high school - one child came to the elementary school, and of course no one is eligible to go to the high school, because they haven't finished elementary.

Other services like health or police are working correctly. All mods that I have now are compatible, haven't added any new mods, even removed some - just purchased the newest DLC as well.

Perhaps it's too soon to be building a new city.

Maybe try turning off new DLC. This game seems to be all around the place now. For some it works perfectly, some cant even go past the welcome screen, some face strange situations within cities. We will need month or two before things get better. This is one good reason to love those updates that bring little to the game, but cause many problems.

What happens when you use the everybody go to school policy, do they go to school then?

Found the issue - for some reason Lifecycle rebalance mod decided to use custom ages for when citizens go to elementary/high school/university. Disabled the custom settings and elementary schools are now maxed out!
