Is there a way to build underwater tunnels?
Everytime I try to build an underwater tunnel the game won't let me. What gives?

depends on the terrain you want to build. if it's not flat enough, you cant build on it. try a deeper lever or curves.

You can definitely build tunnels underwater. The big issue is 'cliffs' in the terrain, which will block a tunnel the same way that a mountain will block a road up the side. The solution is the same, work diagonally down the bank of the bed and try to find good 'landing' sites.

I have no problem with tunneling through any part of the terrain. Tunneling under water however depends on the depth of the water. You can only tunnel down 5 steps, so if that still isn't deep enough to pass under the water then it's back to bridges. For this reason I'm editing my maps to ensure the rivers, lakes, and waterways I want to use are shallow enough.
