Monsters/Aliens?

Will there be sim city esque monsters / aliens we can spawn to destroy our cities?

If so I'm sold, was the only reason I played sim city as a wee lad

I disagree. I hate that feature of SC4 and never used it. Wasteful of resources.

Part of why people love sims anything is because you can control their deaths and shiz. I would love to have random events like aliens spawning, it adds to the game randomness. I agree with OP

Please NO! Aliens zombies Llamas or Godzilla like creatures. Never used them in Sim City. There are plenty of games that cater for them. I love cities skylines because it is an opportunity to be creative rather than destructive. I'd rather devs created more depth to the simulation based on real world scenarios than childish nonsense

Why do so many people hate the inclusion of an optional feature that is just for fun in a VIDEO GAME?

You were probably the kind of kids that went up to other kids in the sandbox and ripped the toys out of their hands because they're "playing with them wrong".

Actually, I found the disaster moments to be helpful most times. I use to have a hard time renovating any areas of my cities. A good disaster would help me see new ideas.
