In any case, you may not have noticed, but once you start bulldozing something, the clever feature about the bulldozer is that it will only continue to bulldoze that type of item. For example if I start bulldozing the roads in an interchange, then only the roads will be affected, the pedestrian paths won't be touched, nor will any buildings either.
It's also overlay specific. With water overlay on, for example, I can only bulldoze plumbing.
Left click with the bulldozer on the first section of road you want to delete and continue to keep the left mouse button depressed, then as you drag it, it will continue to bulldoze roads but will leave everything else untouched.
