Map editor won't let me build roads correctly?

Having a lot of issues with roads. Firstly placing them (with anarchy off/on) builds the road without connecting the nodes sometimes (often enough to drive me crazy) even though I snapped to the node and even if anarchy is off. This looks like two roads being drawn over each other but not connecting. I'm also having trouble making outside connections because it's "outside the editor". Didn't have any of these problems until today but no mod updates or changes so not sure.

Would love some opinions.

Last two I'm using because Find It doesn't seem to bring up my own intersections and assets, only use this for map editor.

For the snapping issue: you have snapping disabled. Enable the third button in the bottom row in anarchy window,yhe one with arrow and dot.

As for the second issue; You can only create outside connections using the three-lane highway from the base game. The new 'Network Anarchy' mod has a lot of features from other older mods including the 'Any Road Outside Connections' mod, but there's still some work to be done. Perhaps this feature doesn't work properly yet. I advise you to leave a post about this on the Network Anarchy's Workshop page. Or build the last bit using the regular three-lane highways.

I can make outside connections an inch over, just not in the corners. Maybe it has to go to one side specifically..
