Games like Cities:Skylines but with Ancient architecture?

The City-Building genre really starts to grow on me thanks to Cities:Skylines. But, I would love to build an ancient city, a city like Rome, or some germanic villages. Maybe even old towns in the Victorian Era or colonies in America. Is there a game where this is possible?

I guess you could also play SimCity 4, it's pretty much considered the predecessor to Cities: Skylines (most people don't like to recognise SimCity 5's (2013) existence :/

SimCity for DS had something like this. You played from ancient times till modern times, but that wasn't a very good simulator

tropico 5 takes you from 1920 upwards with a persistend city through diffretn scenario's, fun game as well. the time changes don't reflect in the look of buildings as much as i had hoped though. ofcourse, i do not know how carribean buildings looked during those times. what tropico does do very well, is give you a humourous carribean themed citybuilder. tropico 3 and 4 are also worth checking out.

Children of the Nile is still great, and it was one of ,if not the first to simulate every single citizen.

Zeus was my favorite of the older Impressions series, maybe just because it took place in greece while everything else was rome or egypt again and again.

Ceasar IV is actually what you are looking for; it is an old game but actually has better graphics than this game and more player involvement. It includes min army activity if you want that in your game. Several maps and variety of gameplay (trade and economy or prep for war and invaders.

I didn't like that one too much, felt unfinished and stuff just didn't work very well.

if you try banished, make sure you get the colonial mod(or something like that). it'll give you even more of what you're looking for.
