Cities: Skylines

Cities: Skylines

Have to run on low graphics and it's annoying me
I'm having to run Cities Skylines on all the lowest settings, including graphics (even though I was told by paradox interactive that my graphics card should support the game at medium-max settings) and it's really annoying because if I zoom out too far, all the textures become stretchy and blurry, and if I zoom too far in, the whole screen blurs and lags.

I'm getting about 10-15 FPS when I get around 5k population.
Help? Any tips? Tricks? Mods to make it work?

Hi this game ruins badly what can i do?

Well for a start your system specs would be an awesome idea!
OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit
System Model: 500-c60
Processor: AMD A6-5200 APU w/ Radeon HD Graphics, 4 CPUs, ~2.0GHz
(let me know if you need the memory for my computer)
Card Name: AMD Radeon HD 8400
Display Memory: 4081 MB
Dedicated Memory: 497 MB (i think)
Shared Memory: 3584 MB
Resolution: 1440 x 900 32 bit 60 Hz
Monitor name & Model: HSD HF199H / HF199H
Medium-max settings? With that on board graphics? No.

From a quick search this is a tower? If so id look into getting a dedicated graphics card.

So I'm stuck with low graphics? Ugh.
It is a laptop?

If so run it from your mains power not battery and also disable and power saving software or operating system settings.

That CPU is really slow as is the gfx, i would not touch a laptop (for gaming) especially one with such a slow cpu / gfx. If indeed it is a laptop

Does anybody have a reccomendation for cheap gfx cards that would support the game? I can only spend about $60 US
Mate, its NOT the G Card you need to worry about, Crap CPU and RAM below the recommended specs, THATS WHY its running like crap. Did you seriously buy this game without researching the minimum and recommended specs? It's clear your machine would struggle. Just because you G Card is ok, doesnt mean you can forget the rest, these games rely MORE on CPU and RAM than they do graphics.

As I said, Paradox said my PC would be able to handle med-max settings on skylines.
If you can reccomend something under $60 that would fix my problem, go ahead.

he could have 16 gig of ram, 3ghz processor and he would still be on low graphics due to the inadequate power of his graphics.

It has a rating of 357, a 6770 which im using at the moment for medium graphics has 1,668 a 660gtx is 4,119.

Judging the specs you've got it's a notebook which means you're screwed and have to upgrade for a new notebook or a desktop. :)
@op before yu buy a card take the side off and look inside it may not have a slot for a card.

I've said before, I have a PC, not a notebook.

I can understand why people are saying this, the parts come up as notebook parts because they are mainly used in notebooks. This is why i have had since said look at the mainboard as you may not be able to install a dedicated graphics card as i see no slot for this. its basically a machine you can not upgrade or are very limited to upgrading, maybe some extra ram and thats it.

You're best bet is to google upgrading this machine or contacting HP.

You shouldn't have bought a Kabini APU. You already use it as desktop PC. Why did you not go with Kaveri or Trinity?
The UEFI of desktop variants of AMD APUs usually allow you to set the VRAM up to 2gb. Perhaps it's a good start to try to do the same with your Kabini A6-5200. What Mainboard do you use?
