Steam workshop items not showing up
When I look at my content manager screen, all of the items I'm subscribed to show up under the 'steam workshop' tab, but not under the mods or assets. Only my own assets that I made in game show up. Any fixes?

Checking the game files integrity fixed the issue for me
Same problem has been popping up on other threads. Verifying file integrity didn't work for me. Any leads on solving this?

Same problem, I know what you mean. I posted about this yesterday with no response from the community.

"I was having the issue/bug where you load a saved game and the map is completely 2D with no buildings, just streets. In fact, its practically frozen and nothing is moving. An error pops up as soon as the saved game loads.

I did some research and saw this error could be related to mods and actually came about when patch 1.0.7 hit. I checked my Content Manager in the main menu and found my Assets and Mods lists completely empty (I am subscribed to many, many mods and assets). I went into my "Subscribed Items" here on the Steam Workshop and even found I was technically still subscribed to all those assets and mods. I tried unsubscribing from some and subscribing again only to find that nothing would put these mods or assets back into my Content Manager in-game.

I then tried manually updating my game to the Beta Patch (1.0.7c I believe) and, as of now, my game is completely playable and my saved games are loadable, but all of my mods and assets are gone and will not download or register back into my game. All the assets I had in my maps have disappeared. I honestly do not know what else to do at this point... I'm rather disappointed as well as this game was meant to be all mod-friendly."

I just restarted steam and everything downloaded. I guess the game updated or something, so it got rid of all the workshop items, so I had to redownload them, but steam wasn't doing that.

I did a couple of things as well as verifying file integrity. Didnt fix anything. Simply exiting Steam and restarting it, then opening C:S fixed it for me. Might be that simple.
C.O. released an update last night, all workshoip items are now working.

Not sure, but might be that 8 years ago this problem was caused by something else...
