I built a bunch of monuments which put health at 99% and increased properly values so I gained like 30k population overnight and the game has sort of gone off the rails. RCI is all over the map, unemployment hit 44% at one point, and I can't zone fast enough to fill all the jobs.
It started with them complaining not having any goods to sell and the factories complaining to not have anyone to buy. Even though i have an excellent infrastructure and not really any traffic issues. I think the people dying and commercial sector shrinking is connected to some bug in the game. Its frustrating though.
I did not pirate this game. It is a retail copy that I paid for in full. Do not assume stuff you know nothing of and/or know nothing about. Stop attacking me like wolves, get off your high horse and realize this is a universal problem with all copies of the game. As you know by now, the situation has been resolved if you've been following this thread, minus the illegitimate claims stating that I have stolen from Colossal Order. I'll be on my merry way now. I'll leave this thread for anyone who's had my same problems as I believe this thread really aided me in rebuilding my city. It can do the same for another one of the community members.
I don't like insulting people, but I've had enough with the accusations.
Now can we behave like we're older than 14 and get back to the discussion at hand? Thank you.
Good, you know how to use the copy and paste function of Steam.
You claimed to have purchased the game on steam, he pointed out you don't have it on steam. Then you claim to have purchased with retail.
Thank you for posting your theme song.
I've not actually commented on yourself and ownership.
I only say it is suspicious when everybody who owns it here has a symbol to say so and you don't.
But I don't know for sure.
"...it is our decision to use Steam for installation of Cities: Skylines."
the above was posted by a paradox employee.
everything regarding retail boxed copies also says steam is required.
Also then when I read
I have to understand if it is by a design problem or if because of a mod for water treatement or an other mod that those sick wawes happen.
Could you have started to use a mod/asset recently that you added in your city recently that could cause that problem ?
The fact that I don't have one yet means either that I have been lucky up to now (which does not help solve any issue if there is one), or if that there are mods/assets that are yet unknown at creating mass problems, because using a very close to vanillia game for me I haven't witnessed one yet.
So again, telling that you have mass ill people, fine, but what is the illness ? that may help detect what's creating it. A forgotten water tower somewhere in middle of map is so easely done as well, even for the one that know how to play the game. we all have our moments...
Because for now my benchmark is 86 ill peaople on a +100k city
It plays exactly like that, as in you build too quickly, and they move in, those people you had a massive influx of, will die all at same time later on.
Just because you have demand, does not mean you build it fast and quick. Plan, place and be patient.
In Banished, if you build too quick, the same happens. I have even tried this in Skylines, and exactly the same happens.
For example, if you have an influx of 20k, expect at some point they will die, together because they do not have age in the game, like age 71 or 34. Only sections saying child, adult and senior, etc.
I build in stages. At beginning, build two blocks for Residential, then they will want commerce and industry.
And just because it has demand, after those put in place, does not mean build straight away. If you look at the data maps for adult and senior and where everyone is, you will find that next stage that is going to die, before it happens.
Hahaha this just made me laugh!!!! Damn that stupid high sales tax! I feel your pain, its happeneing to me too and my population is only at 20K. And all of my deaths happend in my High Density Consumer Area's too. One minute I expanding my newest suburb next I look at my shopping district and there are 100+ dead people for HOURS!
