Possible to merge 2 roads from interstate into 1 main road?

Hello!

So I'd like to merge the entrance and exit from the interstate into 1 6 lane road. 3 lanes for incoming traffic and 3 lanes for outgoing traffic. I'd much rather be able to do this than have a 2 or 4 lane road for them and then having to connect them into an intersection somewhere. I've tried to use the 3-3to6 from the workshop but they didn't connect properly and didn't work out without me connecting a 2 or 4 lane road to them. This is what I attempted to use:

What I want is to have the 3 lanes from incoming merge with the 3 lanes from outgoing into a single 6 lane road(3 lanes for both sides of traffic).

Is this possible?

Of course it is, if it wasn't the above asset could not have been made!

The trick is that you can't connect them parallel, they have to be at an angle which can be trial and error to recreate.

Use the traffic light toggle mod to turn the traffic lights off and the 3-3-6 intersection should work just like you would like it to, if I'm understanding your problem correctly.

I installed two 3-3to6 addons from the workshop and neither of them worked as described. One of them was too small to work correctly and the other was too large :-(

No you don't need traffic light mods you just need to know how to manage and direct traffic.

For these to work, they are not designed to plop straight to your starting connection - they can but you have to place 1sq from them, then manually connect.

Yeah I realize that now, I didn't know I had access to a 3 lane road in the "6 lane" interstate option. I assumed the 6 lane interstate option would place a 6 lane road with 3 lanes per direction. I got this working now with a 3-3to6 and manually connecting them as stated above.
