But there's plenty I like about CSL and think that with future patches and mods this will hopefully become the clear winner in time.
If you get NAM it comes with a traffic configuration tool to make it so that cars don't disappear.
Darn, I didn't have access to internet back then. What is NAM if you don't mind me asking?
You can still google it :P
"The Network Addon Mod, or NAM, is a modification for SimCity 4 Deluxe (or SimCity 4 with the Rush Hour Expansion pack), which adds a myriad of new transport network items, ranging from ground light rail, to fractional-angle roads, to roundabouts, and much more. It also includes bugfixes to Maxis items and a highly optimized set of traffic simulator plugins, improving pathfinding accuracy and performance."
Oh yes I have heard about that, didn't know NAM was it abbreviation. How does this affect the agent system? It just weird that It took Skyline for me to even ask this question. I'm getting excited now!
Doesn't seem to be fix according to this forum. http://community.simtropolis.com/topic/26500-appearingdisappearing-cars/
The MySims 'feature' was a waste as it was mainly just a cheap tie in to the Sims.
Cities Skylines solves both; as we now have full fledged Sims livings out their lives, up to a million of them, with no fudged numbers. It's realyl quite impressive.
The moddability day 1 is a bonus. The game is only out 2 weeks. Only 1.5 patches, no DLC no expanded content yet.
I think Skylines is going to be an insanely replayable game in the years to come. C.O. and Paradox have my attention and this coming from me, who is usually a big booster of genre leading games. ( I prefer Civ5 to EU and up until a few years ago anything other than Sim City was a knock-off), but after SC2013 I'm totally in the 'anything but Sim City camp' EA can go die in a fire.
Now let's hope 2K don't ♥♥♥♥ up Civ6.

Skylines is not the new SC4. It's next level, literally
