CPU LAG spikes/crashing and freezing after 10 minutes of gameplay

Hello there,

I am not really sure if this issue is really the game or not tbh but after about 10 minutes of gameplay I start to hear looping of sound, the game freezes for 3 seconds plays then freezes for another 3 seconds then plays for 1 seconds then frezes for longer duations. I can move my cursour around but it takes time for the game to response to clicks or instrurctions i give. it takes 5 minutes for me to save and then exit the game inwhich then I descover the lagging and frezing is still going on in windows desktop. I open up task manager and look at the resource monitor. I have crazy CPU lag spikes jumping from 25% to 100% coonsistantly. It says interupted windows is the most frequant resource usage of my CPU. however that is only displayed to use 10% of the CPU not the 100%. The resource monitor seems to be incapible of showing me whats taking up that much CPU, that or that the spike is so fast it displays it before i can even blink. its really wierd. Eventually my computer will just lock up when browsing the web after about 3/4 minmutes when exiting the game and the screen will start to flash like a strobe light, monitor will loose signal and I hear a loud fan noise which sounds like GPU fan went to 100% rpm for a few seconds. when the niose has stopped, my monitor will regain signal and I will be back at desktop with no lag spikes and everthing running smoothly again. When I play this game again 5 minutes later it starts all over again.

Can anyone help?. I have had lagging and freezing of this nature in the past. I have tried wiping operteting system completly. and changing operating system and that stopped this behaviour from happening for a little while. about a month or 2. Now it's back :( I have resinstalling GPU drivers with clean install and no traces of drivers or software related drivers too. I have done everyhting I can trhink of. Do I need to get a new GPU?

Win7 64bit
CPU i7 4790k temps 4.5ghz @ 35c -50c
RAM: 16gb 1600mhz corsair vengance cl9
GPUs,2GB EVGA GTX 680 superclocked x 2, (same problem with or without sli) temps 38- 46c
mobo: Asus maximus V11 Hero
2 x 1TB HDD & 1 x 125GB vertex 4 SSD
corsairs 1200i PSU
Nvidia Drivers, 347.88 ( have already changed drivers once)

Since you have this issue before the game. You might have repeated the same habit that created this problem. E.g using pirated software, clicking on malware, visting porn sites, etc.

Maybe some virus/malware/adware got installed or you got hacked. E.g Bitcoin mining malware.

Other than that, good luck. You are better off asking about PC problems in hardware related forums instead of a specific gaming forum that focused on a single game.

Just some general hints:

• Some old SSDs can cause huge lags even when being on the desktop. The cause can be driver problems and/or wrong configuration. Especially the early OCZ Vertex series are known for that. I don't know if the Vertex 4-series can cause that too.
  
• Sometimes the CPU stays in an energy-saving low performance mode when the energy-saving configuration is wrong.
  
• Certain hardware could be incompatible causing a lot of safety checks each time it is accessed.
  
• So-called 'tuning tools' like CCleaner and TuneUpcan can mess up the inner workings of Windows. The only fix is to reinstall Windows and to never use these applications again.
  
• There could be a non-system application running in the background which does some stuff periodically. Shut it down!

it just happend one day...ithink its abot the internet connection but not applications you use
