Great game. Annoying wind sound.

Please make an option to TURN OFF the wind sound that appears when zooming out. Or please guide me if I'm just being a noob.

Adjust your speaker voluem or open settings and adjust the volume for sound FX and or ambience.

The only way I know of to get rid of this highly annoying, and unnecessary, constant wind sound is to turn Ambient sounds all the way off. That unfortunately means that you also loose all the other Ambient sounds as well. I haven't dug in to the directories yet to see if there is a sound file to delete or code reference to delete. This, and the annoying terrain deformation, really detracts from the game!

At least im not alone :) I tried the different volumes, but as you say, then i loose all the other sounds

I don't know which other ambient sounds you lose when you turn the volume completely down, but I certainly don't miss them. The annoying wind sound is gone but I still hear industry noises, traffic, school bells, sirens and even birds.

I agree as well. The wind sound is extremely annoying. Please make an option to turn it off. If ambient sound is turned off, the wind sound is gone, but so are also cars, dogs barking, buses, etc, and I really would like to keep those sounds.

The only way to dampen the wind sound a bit is to have the music on full volume, but that's not a great option, since the music is very very repetitive and gets annoying too. =/

I think one of the worst ambient sounds that overpowers everything is the CONSTANT "heartbeat monitor" sound that comes from any hospital and is heard anywhere unless youre zoomed out far
