Is not hard to get your budget to go into the red, and given there is not "game over" mechanic, if you do not rectify the outflow of cash, you can leave the game running indefinitely and just watch it go down the drain - or rescue it by activating mods that remove costs and/or bringing the budget to green, if at all possible.
